Before I started Advanced Audio/Video, I spent 17 years as a manufacturers’ rep for brands such as Sony, Sharp, etc., calling on local retail establishments throughout the SE and SW.   Having now been in the electronics business for 30 years, I have never seen a time when there has been more “New” technology and more confusion.  Consumers are constantly bombarded with words like, “HDTV, HDTV-compatible, SDTV, EDTV, plasma, LCD, DLP, home automation, etc.”  Makes your head hurt just reading it!
